What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies, such as local and session storage, work the same way. In this policy, “cookies” covers all of them.
How we ask for your consent
When you first visit retailmedia.net, we ask which cookies you accept. Strictly necessary cookies are always on, because the site cannot work without them. Analytics and marketing cookies are only used if you accept them, and you can accept or reject them with one click.
We keep your choice for 6 months, then ask again.
Strictly necessary
These are always on.
- cc_cookie (retailmedia.net). Remembers your cookie choice. Kept for 6 months.
- Outseta login token (session storage). Keeps you signed in if you log in to your account. Only stored after you sign in, and deleted when you close the browser tab. The contact and support forms on this site are provided by Outseta; sending a form does not set any other cookies.
Analytics
Used only if you accept analytics cookies.
- Google Analytics (_ga, ga*). Counts visits and shows how the site is used, so we can improve it. Set by Google through Google Tag Manager. Kept for up to 2 years.
- Cloudflare Stream. Plays the videos on this site and records viewing statistics. Videos only load after you accept analytics cookies.
If you do not accept analytics cookies, Google tags may still send basic, cookieless measurements without identifiers (Google Consent Mode). These cannot be used to recognise you.
Marketing
Used only if you accept marketing cookies. They let us and our advertising partners measure our campaigns and show you relevant ads on other sites.
We do not run any marketing tags at the moment. Before we add one, we will list it here with its cookies and how long they last.
Changing your choice
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time with the Change cookie settings button on the Legal page, linked at the bottom of every page. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of anything that happened before.
You can also delete cookies in your browser settings. If you do, we will ask for your choice again on your next visit.
